Everything you need to know about renting apartments and homes in Barcelona with a swimming pool

Barcelona is a city that has an ideal temperature to enjoy the outdoors. The Mediterranean climate in this beautiful Catalan city makes it perfect for sunbathing and taking a swim every now and then. Although there are some exceptional beaches in the Ciudad Condal, some people who decide to rent an apartment in Barcelona prefer the swimming pool at their apartment building, or share the communal swimming pool with their neighbors. Barcelona has a large offer in this respect, with individual properties, low houses, or single-family houses with a private garden and pool, single-family houses with a communal swimming pool, or apartment buildings with a garden or terrace, with either a private or a communal swimming pool. In all cases, rental prices are higher, but in the case of having a private pool only for the tenant to use, the price, of course, is much higher. Not all parts of Barcelona offer this type of exclusive property, therefore the neighbourhoods in which it is most common to find this type of property characteristic, are Pedralbes, where most of the apartments have a communal area with a swimming pool, some buildings in Les Corts, residential areas such as Vallcarca and el Penitents or La Font d'en Fargas, and luxury apartments with sea views in El Front Marítim del Poblenou.

Advantages of renting an apartment with swimming pool in Barcelona

Barcelona has an exceptional climate, so you can enjoy your pool during most of the year. With a few exceptions, taking a plunge in Barcelona's swimming pools is generally possible from the beginning of June, sometimes even before that, until the end of September, and sometimes even after that. This means that for about four or five months a year you can enjoy the pool, and, budget permitting, it will undoubtedly be a great investment to spend a little more on rent and choose a property with a pool. If you have children, it is ideal for being able to enjoy the pool for so long. Barcelona has several possibilities in this regard, and prices are more expensive, but in case of choosing an apartment  with a communal pool, Barcelona has more affordable options. There are  residential areas with apartments and houses with a swimming pool, and in Barcelona you have several districts you can choose from. For example, if you  like to live in the middle of nature and in an apartment building with a swimming pool, the neighbourhoods of Les Planes or Vallvidrera in the Collserola mountain range have very affordable options. If you have a bigger budget, you can choose an apartment in one of the buildings with a communal pool in the area of Pedralbes, which is one of the most exclusive areas of Barcelona. If you like luxury and also enjoy swimming a few laps after work, and if you love the sea, then renting an apartment with sea views with direct access to the beach and with a community or private pool in El Front Marítim del Poblenou would be delightful.
